My journey began with a passion for crafting and a love for making spaces feel special. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a small business rooted in sustainability and craftsmanship.

Lublu means ‘I love’ in Russian, and that sentiment is at the heart of everything I create. My mission is to offer beautifully crafted, sustainable products that bring joy and comfort to your space. Every candle I make supports my commitment to the environment, using coconut soy wax and offering refill programs to encourage reuse.

Like many candlemakers, my journey began in the kitchen, experimenting with different scents and waxes. Eventually, I moved into the garage as my passion grew, and now I have a cozy studio room in my apartment where the magic happens. Every vessel is handcrafted by me, and each candle is carefully poured to ensure the highest quality. From mixing the cement for the vessels to choosing the perfect fragrances, I’m involved in every step of the process to create something truly special. These aren’t just candles, they’re pieces of art designed to bring warmth and comfort to your space.

One of the most rewarding parts of running Lublu Candles & Co. has been becoming an active part of my local community. Participating in pop-up markets has given me the chance to connect with customers face-to-face, share my passion, and be part of the vibrant maker community here in Austin. These markets aren’t just about selling products; they’re about building relationships, exchanging stories, and seeing the immediate joy that my candles bring to people. It’s a space where I can hear firsthand how my products fit into people’s lives—whether it’s someone buying a candle as a gift for a loved one, or choosing a scent that reminds them of a cherished memory.
